Tailored course

Repairing car keys at a garage, learning to read schematics, or training a whole class at once. Tell us what you want to be able to do and we will build a course around it.

What this course is about

Our standard courses cover the repair world from phone to MacBook. But the same techniques are used in many more places, and far from everyone who needs them works in a repair shop.

A garage that wants to repair car keys instead of sending them away. A technical department that needs to read schematics. A school that wants to teach a whole class the basics of soldering. For questions like these we build a tailored programme.

How the course is built up

  • We start with a conversation: what comes in to you and what should you be able to solve yourselves
  • We then draw up a programme with the techniques you will actually use
  • You know in advance how many days it takes and what it will cost
  • The course takes place at our premises or at yours, with all the equipment ready
  • You practise on material from your own daily work, not on training boards you will never see again
  • At the end every participant receives a certificate

Groups can be large. Tell us how many of you there are when you apply, and we will arrange enough workstations and trainers.

When a tailored course makes more sense

You don't work in phone repair, but you need the technique anyway. Think car keys and immobilisers at a garage, or control boards in a machine park.

You want to learn something that isn't in our range. Just say so: if one of our trainers has it down, we teach it.

You are coming as a group. For government bodies, schools and technical colleges we teach whole classes at once, at our premises or in your own classroom.

Your team has uneven prior knowledge. We then skip what people already know, and that saves days.

Why at Goed Gerepareerd

You are guided by a trainer who repairs devices himself. Our trainers carry out repairs every day, which keeps the courses up to date with the latest techniques. You can ask any question you like during the course.

The course is fully prepared for you, so you need to bring nothing. We provide parts, tools, faulty devices to practise on, all the course material and a proper lunch. You can let us know about allergies in advance.

Who is this course for?

For businesses, garages, technical departments, government bodies and schools that want to learn something specific, on their own or as a whole group.

No small print

The questions we get most

Can I use subsidies for this course?
Sometimes the local council will cover the cost of training. Your case worker decides whether you qualify, and your local council is where to ask. Employers and the Dutch UWV also regularly contribute.
Who is my trainer?
We assign a different trainer to nearly every course. Each of us has our own speciality and field. To us it matters that the trainer always has at least ten years of experience in their field.
What can I expect after the course?
After the course your learning really starts. You have the knowledge and it is up to you to put it into practice. You are not on your own: you stay in close contact with your trainer and can message them every day or hop on a video call when you get stuck. You also get updates on new techniques, new models and new tools, and you can log into our forum after the course.
What if I want more support afterwards?
We always advise first looking at how you can develop on your own, and we recommend against starting another course straight away. Make good use of the remote support. After six months we look together at whether a next step makes sense, for example a one-day follow-up course.
Can I take any of the courses if I have no experience yet?
No. Some courses require at least five years of experience. You cannot take the expert micro soldering course without any micro soldering experience. Start with the basic course instead.
I already have some experience. Which level should I take?
Get in touch and we will put together a tailored course with you. That way you know you are making the right choice and not paying for things you can already do.
Can I take a course tailored to me?
Certainly. We have standard courses that cover all the basics. If you have been at it longer, we work out a plan together covering the things you have not learned yet. That is possible for nearly every course, except the CPU training.
