Terms and conditions

What you can expect when you book a course with us. We have written it the way we would explain it on the phone, without unnecessary small print.

Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

Goedgerepareerd BV, trading as Goed Gerepareerd. We are a training institute for phone repair and micro soldering, and we run the independent Goed Gerepareerd Quality Mark.

2. When these terms apply

These terms apply to every quotation, enrolment and course from Goed Gerepareerd. If we agree something different, we put it in writing; that agreement then takes precedence.

If you work with your own purchasing conditions, those do not apply unless we have accepted them expressly and in writing.

3. Enrolling and confirming

You enrol through the form on the site, by email or by phone. An enrolment is not yet an agreement: that comes into being the moment we confirm your enrolment by email. We do that within one working day.

Places are limited and are allocated in order of confirmation. If a date is full, we will discuss an alternative with you.

4. Prices

  • All prices on our site are per person and are excluding VAT. In the calculator when you enrol you see the amount including VAT.
  • Our prices are all-in: the tools you use during the course and the devices or motherboards you practise on are included.
  • If you book more than six weeks ahead, € 50 per person comes off. We calculate that discount on the amount before VAT.
  • Your own travel and accommodation costs are for your own account, unless we agree otherwise.
  • For a tailor-made course, the price in the quotation applies.

5. Paying

You receive an invoice with a payment term of fourteen days, unless we agree otherwise. If you do not pay on time, we first send a reminder. If payment still does not follow, we may charge statutory interest and collection costs. If you are a consumer, we only do so after you have received a formal notice with a fourteen-day term.

If an invoice that is due remains unpaid, we may postpone your participation in a course until it has been settled.

6. Cooling-off period for private customers

If you book as a private individual, so not on behalf of a business, then after our confirmation you have fourteen days to change your mind. During that period you can cancel without giving a reason and you get your money back within fourteen days.

If the course starts within those fourteen days and you expressly ask us to begin, your cooling-off period ends as soon as the course has been given in full. If it has only been given in part at that moment, you pay in proportion for the part you have had.

If you book on behalf of a business, this cooling-off period does not apply.

7. Can't make it? Then we move your course

If you fall ill or something comes up, let us know as soon as you know. You may then reschedule your course once free of charge to another date. You do not have to give a reason and it costs you nothing extra.

What we do pass on are costs we have already incurred for you at that moment and can no longer cancel, for example a hotel night we had booked for you. We tell you the amount in advance.

If you want to reschedule again after that, we can discuss it, but we will then charge the costs of that new booking.

8. Cancelling

Outside the cooling-off period for private customers we do not refund the course fee. Instead we reschedule your course free of charge, as described above.

We do not do that to be difficult. We reserve a workstation for you, buy practice material and often book a hotel night in advance. We incur those costs well before the course day.

If you really cannot make it and no new date fits, you may let someone else take your place, for example a colleague. Let us know who it will be and we will change the name.

9. If we reschedule or cancel

It can happen that a course does not go ahead, for example because there are too few participants or because the trainer is ill. We let you know as soon as possible and offer you a new date.

If no date works out, you get the full amount back within fourteen days. Other costs you incur as a result are not reimbursed, unless the law obliges us to.

10. Course at your premises

If we give the course at your business, you provide a suitable working space: enough tables and chairs, good lighting, power sockets and the ability to ventilate. You also make sure we can get in at the agreed time.

If the location turns out to be unsuitable and the course cannot go ahead as a result, that counts as a cancellation by you.

11. What you get, and what it is not

On completion you receive a certificate of participation from Goed Gerepareerd. That is not a legally recognised diploma; it is a statement from our institute that you followed the course.

After the course you can turn to your trainer and to our forum. That aftercare is a service we are glad to give, but it is not unlimited support and not a guarantee of an outcome. So we promise you no job, no revenue and no particular result.

12. Course material

The course material, the exercises and the documentation remain ours. You may use them for yourself and for your own work, but not distribute them, resell them or use them to give courses yourself.

You only make video or audio recordings during the course with the permission of the trainer and of the other participants.

13. Safety and liability

During the course you work with soldering equipment, hot air and liquids. You follow the instructions and safety directions of the trainer. If you do not, the trainer may refuse you further participation in an exercise.

If you bring your own device or motherboard to practise on, that is at your own risk. Repairs can go wrong, even under supervision. We are not liable for damage to equipment you bring or for the loss of data on it.

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course in question. That limitation does not apply in the event of intent or conscious recklessness on our part, and not to injury to life or health.

14. The quality mark

The Goed Gerepareerd Quality Mark is separate from our courses. Separate agreements apply to admission to and participation in the quality mark, which you receive from us during the admission procedure. These terms and conditions do not cover that.

15. Complaints

If you are unhappy about something, tell us first. Call 085 - 505 5120 or email info@goedgerepareerd.nl. We reply within five working days and look for a solution together.

We would like to hear a complaint about a course within two months of the course day, while everyone still remembers it well.

16. Personal data

What we do with your data is set out in our privacy statement.

17. Which law applies

Dutch law applies to these terms and to our agreements. If we cannot resolve it together, we put the dispute to the Dutch court that has jurisdiction under the law. If you are a consumer, you can therefore always bring the dispute before the court of your place of residence.

18. Changes

We may amend these terms. For a course you have already booked, the version that applied at the moment we confirmed your enrolment remains in force.
